Dr. Dharati Szymanski, DVM, is a native of Orland Park, IL. She earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Biology from Brandeis University in 2002 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in 2006. Dr. Szymanski joined the WSVA practice in 2011 after returning to Chicago from Arlington, VA, where she had also practiced veterinary medicine. Dr. Szymanski’s professional background is in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and behavioral health, and she maintains memberships in professional organizations that include the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Association.
In her limited spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and enjoying the company of friends and family. She and her husband have two sons, Linus and Hugo; cat, Ronald and a dog named Benny.
