Associate veterinarian at West Suburban Veterinary Associates since 2008, Dr. Alison Muehrcke grew up in Oak Brook, IL.
She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History/Studio Art in 2002. Dr. Muehrcke went on to attend Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Ophthalmology, cardiology and animal behavior are just some of Dr. Muehrcke’s many professional interests. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Information Network.
Dr. Muehrcke’s home is filled with pets, including a Border Terrier named Wendel and three cats, Monty, Edwin, and Crabby. Painting, drawing, watching horror movies and spending time with family are among her many pastimes.
