“I enjoy helping people have a high quality of life with their pets by providing ongoing and preventative care as well as addressing health problems. I am proud to work at WSVA because the clinic has such a high standard of practice – both medically and in the way we treat people, both clients and employees.”
Mary has lived in Naperville most of her life and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Naperville’s North Central College. She is a certified veterinary technician who has cared for animals at facilities throughout the Chicagoland area, including Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo, prior to joining WSVA. In her personal life, Mary has spent a great deal of time working with and riding horses. She also does volunteer work and practices Tai Chi.
Mary, BSRN, MBA,
“I love working with WVSA because of the wonderful clients and staff, and because of the array of technology available on site. I never realized how few private practice vets work with the equipment that WSVA do.”
Mary works with West Suburban Vet as a consultant, providing valuable expertise in project management, research, and the analysis of system functions. Her work in the veterinary field allows her to integrate her love of animals, her business acumen, and her passion for medicine. Mary joined the WSVA team in 2006 as a Client Care Specialist. Though she and her family moved to Arizona in 2013, she remains a valuable part of the WVSA team, working remotely. Currently her three children are attending college, and she shares her home with her husband and two Wire Fox Terriers: Hattie and Whippersnapper. Mary also keeps busy by attending her children’s athletic events, running, sewing, and hiking.
